I’ve taught IGCSE Maths for nine years, with most of my work focused on students preparing for their final exams. Algebra is the area I enjoy most, particularly showing how topics such as functions, graphs and equations connect rather than treating them separately. My lessons include plenty of worked examples followed by independent questions. I’m also quite particular about showing every step clearly, as that can make a real difference to exam marks.

Hi! I’m an IGCSE Maths tutor with an engineering background and six years of tutoring experience. Geometry and trigonometry are probably my favourite parts of the course because drawing the problem often makes the solution much easier to spot. I keep lessons fairly informal and encourage students to try things even when they’re unsure. We usually finish with a couple of exam questions so I can see what they can manage without hints.

For revision, I prefer mixed question sets rather than practising one topic repeatedly because the real paper won’t tell you which method to use.
